UNIT INFORMATION

General Information

We have an extensive application. We ask that you read this and make the determination if you are interested in applying at Kirkridge Park Cooperative. There is a $50.00 money order ONLY charge per person age 18 and over for a credit check fee due at the time the application is turned into the cooperative.

 

THIS IS FAMILY COOPERATIVE - SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE ONLY

 

YOU MUST MEET INCOME AND FAMILY COMPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • ONE BEDROOM: $9,792 annually or $816 monthly

  • TWO BEDROOM: $16,488 annually or $1,374 monthly

  • THREE BEDROOM: $17,640 annually or $1,470 monthly

MAXIMUM INCOME PERMITTED (BASED ON NUMBER OF HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS)

  • 1 PERSON: $38,450

  • 2 PERSON: $43,950

  • 3 PERSON: $49,450

  • 4 PERSON: $54,900

  • 5PERSON: $59,300

  • 6 PERSON: $63,700

The Carrying Charge (Rent) is based on income. If you qualify, rent ranges between:

    (1) Bedroom Unit: $408.00 to $526.00**

    (2) Bedroom Unit: $458.00 to $592.00**

    (3) Bedroom Unit: $490.00 to $635.00**

**Rent amounts are subject to change, please call for the most current rent ranges.

All income and family composition requirements will be reviewed again when your name is at or near the top of the list. If your income or family composition has changed, you may not qualify. Please notify this office if you have a change in family composition or income. False information provided verbally or on the application will result in denial in membership. Rejected applicants may not reapply for one year.

 

CURRENT EQUITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

    (1) Bedroom Unit: $3,000.00

    (2) Bedroom Unit: $5,000.00

    (3) Bedroom Unit: $6,000.00

  • All persons choosing to live in Kirkridge Park Cooperatie must pay a membership fee approximately 2-4 weeks prior to moving in. The membership fee purchases one share of stock in Kirkridge Park Cooperative, a non-profit corporation. This share of stock increases in value at a pre-determined rate. Upon move-out your share is sold to the incoming member at present value. This amount is then refunded to you less a resale fee and any other money you may owe the cooperation.
  • The membership fee is refundable upon move-out if the unit is returned in exact condition it was received and if you owe no other money to the cooperative.The membership fees are the same as the above equity fees, and are subject to change.
  • Monthly Carrying Charges include water.
  • One bedroom units have a private entrance, do NOT have basements, however, there is a utility room with space for a stackable washer and dryer.
  • Two and Three Bedroom units have a private entrance with bedroom(s) and bathroom upstairs, kitchen, and living room on the main floor, with a basement for storage with washer and gas dryer hookup.
  • All Units are equipped with oven and stove range, refrigerator and freezer, garbage disposal, and central air conditioning.
  • TWO SMALL DOGS (NON-AGGRESSIVE, UNDER 35 LBS) ALLOWED. Please inquire with the office staff for more details if you own a pet.

  • 1 Bedroom = 525 square feet
  • 2 Bedroom = 950 square feet
  • 3 Bedroom = 1120 square feet

Maintenance Service Requests

If an emergency situation arises, please call 734.697.3555. Dialing this number after 5:00 PM will put you in touch with maintenance voice mail. Please give them your name, address, unit number, a phone number they can reach you at, and a brief description of the problem you are experiencing. This number should also be called for emergencies on the weekends and holidays when the office is closed.
